2.45.010 Created.

A Department of Information Technology is created which shall be under the general direction of the Director of Information Technology, subject to the general administrative direction of the City Manager. (Ord. 6541-NS § 1 (part), 2000; Ord. 6384-NS § 1 (part), 1997)

2.45.020 Functions.

The functions of the Department of Information Technology shall include: Provide powerful and cost-effective information technology services to the administration and policy makers, and create an accessible, comprehensive, information rich, integrated data image of the City and its government. 2.45.030 Director of Information Technology---Control and supervisory authority.

The Director of Information Technology shall be responsible for the supervision and control of all divisions of the department and for the performance of the functions herein assigned to the department. (Ord. 6541-NS § 1 (part), 2000)
