§ 2.76.010. Responsibility for city property.

The chief administrative officer shall be responsible to the city council for all real and personal property of the city. He or she shall, from time to time, conduct inventories thereof, and report the same to the city council.

§ 2.76.020. Use of personal property.

No person shall use any item of personal property of the city for any purpose, other than in the conduct of authorized city business.

§ 2.76.030. Use of real property.

Except as hereinafter provided, no person shall use any real property belonging to the city for any purpose other than in the conduct of city business. The chief administrative officer shall establish appropriate rules and regulations for the use of public buildings and grounds by persons for private and/or semipublic purposes, which rules and regulations shall not take effect until approved by the city council. This section shall not be deemed to prohibit the lease of city property, if executed in accordance with applicable law.
