Sec. 18-111. - Permit required.

(a) No person or club shall hold or conduct any boxing contests or sparring exhibitions without a permit in writing therefor first being obtained from the council.

(b) Every such applicant of any such permit shall file with the business license officer a written application therefor which shall state the times when and place where the proposed boxing contest or sparring exhibition is to be held or conducted and the name and address of the applicant.

Sec. 18-112. - Permit revocation.

Every permit granted by the council under this division shall specify as a condition to the issuance thereof that the permit may be revoked by the council at any time prior to the termination thereof if, in its opinion, the conducting of the contest or sparring exhibition is detrimental to the people, peace, health or safety of the inhabitants of the city.

Sec. 18-113. - Permit required for use of premises.

No person or club owning or having charge or control of any room, building, place or premises shall keep or permit such room, building, place or premises to be left or to be used or occupied, in whole or in part, for holding or conducting any boxing contest or sparring exhibition, unless a permit therefor has been obtained from the council as provided in section 18-111.
