101A.1 Title. These regulations shall be known as the “2022 San Francisco Building Code,” may be cited as such and will be referred to herein as “this code.” The 2022 San Francisco Building Code amends the 2022 California Building Code and the 2022 California Residential Code which is Part 2 & 2.5 respectively of the 12 parts of the official compilation and publication of the adoption amendment and repeal of the building regulations to the California Code of Regulations, Title 24, also referred to as the California Building Standards Code. The California Building Code and California Residential Code incorporates by adoption the 2021 International Building Code and 2021 International Residential Code respectively of the International Code Council with necessary California amendments.
