Woodlake Municipal Code Ch. 15.08 Construction Inspection Fees

A construction fee in the amount of two percent of the estimated cost of any required public improvements shall be paid to the city as a part of the development agreement or as a condition of building permit issuance where no development agreement is required. Such development agreements include, but are not limited to, those requiring public improvements for subdivisions, parcel maps, conditional use permits, planned unit developments and commercial and industrial developments.

The required fees shall be paid to the city clerk prior to city approval of final subdivision maps or parcel maps, final action by the city council on conditional use permits or planned unit developments, or building permit issuance on commercial or industrial developments.

The city in return for such fee payment, provide such construction inspection as the city deems necessary to insure compliance with development agreements and/or applicable city regulations and specifications. Such inspection shall not, however, relieve the owner, developer, builder or contractor from their individual or joint liabilities for compliance with the development agreements and/or applicable city regulations and specifications.
