10.44.010 - Established.

The prima facie speed limit within the incorporated limits of the city is established at twenty-five miles per hour, except as follows:

A. Where otherwise posted in accordance with state law or city ordinance;

B. In any alley, where the prima facie speed limit is fifteen miles per hour.

10.44.020 - Designated.

It is determined upon the basis of an engineering and traffic survey that a speed greater than twenty-five miles per hour would facilitate the orderly movement of vehicular traffic and would be reasonable and safe upon the portions of streets hereinafter designated in this section, and it is declared that the prima facie speed limit shall be as hereinafter set forth on those portions of streets hereinafter designated in this section when appropriate signs are erected on said streets:
