Westminster Municipal Code Ch. 2.60 Community Development

§ 2.60.010. Created.¶

There is created for the city a department of community development, which shall include the following divisions:

A. Planning;

B. Building and inspections; and

C. Engineering.

§ 2.60.020. Director—Office created—Powers and duties generally.¶

The department of community development shall be under the supervision of the director of community development, whose office is created. The director of community development shall have the duty of supervising those divisions within the jurisdiction of the department of community development and such other duties in connection therewith as provided for by the laws of the state, ordinance and/or resolutions of the city council, or as the city council may from time to time direct.

§ 2.60.030. Engineer—Office created—Appointment—Powers and duties generally.¶

The office of city engineer is established and shall be appointed by the city manager. The city engineer shall perform such duties as are or may be required by the laws of the state, ordinances and/or resolutions of the city council, or as the city council may from time to time direct.
