3.4.010. - Adoption of General Hazards Ordinance.

A. Except as hereinafter provided, Title 11, Health and Safety, Division 2 General Hazards, of the Los Angeles County Code as amended and in effect on January 1, 2000, is hereby adopted by reference as the General Hazards Ordinance of the City.

B. A copy of Title 11, Health and Safety, Division 2, General Hazards, of the Los Angeles County Code as amended and in effect on January 1, 2000, has been deposited in the office of the City Clerk and shall be at all times maintained by the Clerk for use and examination by the public.

3.4.020. - Amendments.

Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 3.4.010, the General Hazards Ordinance is amended by amending Sections 11.42.030, 11.42.050 and Section 11.42.130.A. to read as follows:

11.42.030. Board. "Board" means the City Council of the City of Westlake Village.

11.42.050. County Engineer. "County Engineer" means the City Engineer of the City of Westlake Village or the City's Engineer's designee.

11.42.130. Superintendent. "Superintendent" means:

A. The City Engineer of the City of Westlake Village while enforcing Sections 50241, 50242, 50243, 50244 and 50254 of the Government Code.

3.4.030. - Violations and Penalties.

A violation of any provision of the General Hazards Ordinance is a misdemeanor which is punishable as provided in Chapter 1.2 of the Westlake Village Municipal Code.
