§ 10.04.010. Unlawful.

It is unlawful for any person knowingly to report or cause to be reported to the sheriff or any member of his staff any false or fictitious information indicating that a crime has been or is about to be committed, or knowingly to make any false or fictitious request for help or protection to the sheriff or any member of his staff to respond to any false or fictitious report or to request any assistance or investigation in connection with, or as a result of, any such false or fictitious report or information.
