Chapter 20.68 — APPEALS

§ 20.68.010. Authorized. ¶
Any subdivider or other person, firm or corporation which is dissatisfied with a decision resulting from the application, interpretation, or enforcement of the provisions of this title, may appeal that decision, provided that the appeal is in writing and clearly sets forth the reasons why the appeal ought to be granted. Appeals must be filed as set forth in this chapter. (Prior code § 9-46; Ord. NS 1061 § 2, 1981; Ord. CS 179 § 1, 1986)
§ 20.68.020. Staff decision. ¶
Staff decisions are appealable to the commission if filed with the secretary of the commission within fifteen days of the postmark date on the envelope within which the letter giving notice of such decision was received.

§ 20.68.030. Commission decision. ¶
Decisions of the commission are appealable to the board if filed with the clerk of the board within ten days of the date of the commission meeting at which the decision was made. (Prior code § 9-46(b); Ord. NS 1061 § 2, 1981; Ord. CS 179 § 1, 1986)
§ 20.68.040. Hearings. ¶
A. Decisions appealed to the commission shall be scheduled for consideration at the earliest possible regular meeting, not later than thirty days from the date on which the appeal is filed.
B. Decisions appealed to the board shall be set for specific time and place of public hearing at the next regular meeting and considered not later than thirty days from the date on which the appeal is filed.

§ 20.68.050. Holidays. ¶
When the last day of the appeal period falls upon a holiday, the appeal period shall be extended to include the next subsequent regular working day.

§ 20.68.060. Effect of decision. ¶
The effect of the decision of the commission or board shall be established in Chapter 20.72 . (Prior code § 9-46(e); Ord. NS 1061 § 2, 1981; Ord. CS 179 § 1, 1986)
