10.36.200 Playground zones.

Pursuant to Vehicle Code Section 22357.1 and upon a report submitted by the city engineer, the city council may, by resolution, designate any street or portion thereof within the city adjacent to any children’s playground in a public facility as a playground zone. It is declared that the prima facie speed limit shall be 25 miles per hour on those streets or portion of streets so designated as playground zones where signs are erected giving notice thereof. (Ord. 162 § 1, 1992)
