10.56.010 Temporary closing of streets.

The city manager may temporarily close a portion of a street for a parade or special event for which a permit has been issued when, in his opinion, such closing is necessary for the safety and protection of persons using that portion of the street during the temporary closing. No such closing shall be for more than 24 hours without the approval of the city council. (Ord. 37 § 1, 1987; 1987 Code § 7.44.010)
