Solana Beach Municipal Code Art. II Increased Speed Limits

When it has been determined upon the basis of an engineering and traffic survey that the prima facie speed limit imposed by state law within business and residential districts is less than reasonable or safe under the conditions found to exist upon any street, the city council may by resolution declare that the prima facie speed limit is set at a greater limit, and such speed limit shall become effective when signs are erected giving notice thereof.
