Siskiyou County Municipal Code Art. 1 Purpose

It is the purpose of this Chapter to establish and implement the emergency medical services program for the County, in accordance with Section 1797.200 of the California Health and Safety Code, to include development and maintenance of an emergency medical service (EMS) system that will coordinate all EMS providers, including public, private, and volunteer, in order to provide a comprehensive system that best serves the residents and visitors of the County.

This Chapter shall be in effect throughout Siskiyou County, both in the incorporated and unincorporated areas of the County, and shall be liberally construed for the accomplishment of this purpose.
