1-8.5-1: OFFICE CREATED:

The office of Finance Director/Treasurer is hereby created. The Finance Director/Treasurer shall be the head of the Finance Department and shall be appointed by the City Manager. (Ord. 2000-4, 4-17-2000)

1-8.5-2: DUTIES:

The Finance Director/Treasurer shall under the direction of the City Manager, plan, organize, direct, and supervise the activities and staff of the Finance Department involved in the accounting of City funds, the control of expenditures in accordance with budget appropriations, revenue reporting and administration, the preparation of the City payroll, and shall perform professional accounting work. (Ord. 2000-4, 4-17-2000)
