Chapter 18.02 — GENERAL PROVISIONS

This title shall be known as and may be cited and referred to as the "Sand City Zoning Ordinance." (Ord. 84-1 §1-1)

The zoning regulations set out in this title consist of the establishment of various zoning districts within the City, within which it shall be lawful only to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain buildings or to conduct certain uses of land or of buildings; within which certain open spaces shall be required about future buildings; and consisting further of appropriate regulations to be enforced in such districts, all as set forth in the ordinance codified in this title. In their interpretation and application, the provisions of this title shall be held to minimum requirements. Where this title imposes a greater restriction than is imposed or required by other rules or regulations or ordinances of the City, the provisions of this title shall control. (Ord. 84-1 §1-3)
