BEVERAGE SERVICE BUSINESSES

6.82.100 Beverage service business.

"Beverage service business" means any business:

  • A. Which involves as a primary activity the service of nonalcoholic beverages of any kind to the public for on-site consumption; and

  • B. That is located on the ground floor of a building.

6.80.170 Aisle width.

No person shall operate a peep show establishment in which the width of any aisle in any room where a peep show device is located is less than forty-two inches.

6.82.110 Compliance with chapter.

The owner of any building or premises in which a beverage service business is being conducted or operated shall suffer or allow that use, and the owner or operator of any beverage service

business shall conduct and operate that use, only in a manner that complies with all of the provisions of this chapter. (Ord. 26359.)

6.82.120 Window tint.

  • A. All windows of a beverage service business shall be fabricated of clear glass or other similar transparent material, with or without a film, overlay, laminate, or attachments of any clear kind whatsoever, that allows persons located within twenty feet of the exterior side of the window clearly to observe the interior space of the beverage service business premises, and the activities occurring therein.

  • B. No owner of any building or premises where a beverage service business is being conducted or operated, and no owner or operator of a beverage service business, shall tint or allow the tinting of the windows, or place or allow the placing of a film, overlay, laminate, or attachment of any kind whatsoever on the windows, in a manner that prevents persons located within twenty feet of the exterior side of the window from clearly observing the interior space of the beverage service business premises, and activities occurring therein.
