It shall be unlawful for any person to ride, drive, draw, or propel or permit to be ridden, driven, drawn or propelled along, upon or over any improved highway in the County any vehicle, traction engine, harrow or disc harrow, disc plow or other implement that will tear up or in any manner disturb or damage the surface on the highway.
SEC. 72.243.1. DESIGNATION OF ROADWAYS IN THE SAN DIEGO COUNTRY ESTATES DEVELOPMENT FOR…¶
Roadways in the San Diego Country Estates development that are posted 25 miles or less, as defined in the California Vehicle Code, are hereby designated for joint use by golf carts.

SEC. 72.243.1.1. FALLBROOK.¶
Dulin Road, from Old Highway 395 westerly to the end, meets Section 21115 and Section 21716 as defined in the California Vehicle Code, and is hereby designated for joint use by golf carts.

SEC. 72.243.11. VEHICLES RESTRICTED FROM A PORTION OF SOUTH GRADE ROAD.¶
Tandem axle tractors in combination with tandem axle trailers and single rear axle tractors or pickups pulling a tandem axle trailer with a distance greater than 23 feet between the rear axle of the pulling vehicle and the front axle of the tandem trailer shall not be permitted to travel on the section of South Grade Road between SH76 and East Grade Road (County Road H03A).

SEC. 72.243.12. VEHICLES RESTRICTED FROM MONTEZUMA VALLEY ROAD.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, vehicles and combinations of vehicles of a total length in excess of 60 feet shall not be permitted to travel on Montezuma Valley Road between San Felipe Road to Palm Canyon Drive. An alternative route for vehicles of length in excess of 60 feet has been identified as follows: San Felipe Road, State Route 78, Borrego Springs Road.

SEC. 72.243.2. VEHICLES RESTRICTED FROM A PORTION OF VIA DE SANTA FE.¶
Only cars and pickup trucks may lawfully travel on the section of Via de Santa Fe between Calzada Del Bosque and Via de la Valle.

SEC. 72.243.2.1. RANCHO SANTA FE.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on El Camino del Norte (County Road A25-1) from the west line of Via de Fortuna to the Encinitas City Limit shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Via de Fortuna, El Mirlo and Rancho Santa Fe Road (County Road A23).

SEC. 72.243.2.2. RANCHO SANTA FE.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on San Dieguito Road from the east line of El Apajo easterly to the End shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: From either the north or the south, trucks would travel the I-5 and I-15 freeway corridors, and exit at SR 56, heading respectively east and west. When the missing link of SR 56 is constructed, all traffic would exit at the new Camino Ruiz and travel north directly into the project area. During the interim period, east bound SR 56 traffic would take the soon to be enhanced Carmel Valley Road directly to the project, while west bound SR 56 traffic would exit at Black Mountain Road and go north into the project.

SEC. 72.243.2.4. RANCHO SANTA FE.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Calzada del Bosque between Via de Santa Fe and Via de la Valle shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: From either the north or the south, trucks would travel the I-5 and I-15 freeway corridors, and exit at SR 56, heading respectively east and west. When the missing link of SR 56 is constructed, all traffic would exit at the new Camino Ruiz and travel north directly into the project area. During the interim period, east bound SR 56 traffic would take the soon to be enhanced Carmel Valley Road directly to the project, while west bound SR 56 traffic would exit at Black Mountain Road and go north into the project.

Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Rancho Santa Fe Farms Road from the San Diego City Limit to Rancho Santa Fe Farms Drive shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Trucks would travel Via De La Valle to I-5 to SR 56.

SEC. 72.243.2.6. FAIRBANKS RANCH.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Rancho Diegueno Road from San Dieguito Road to Rancho Santa Fe Farms Road shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Trucks would travel Via De La Valle to I-5 to SR 56.

SEC. 72.243.10. SAN MARCOS.¶

SEC. 72.243.20. ESCONDIDO.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Laurashawn Lane/Arco Drive between North Avenue and North Broadway shall not exceed fourteen thousand pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: North Broadway.

Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Sandia Creek Drive between De Luz Road and the end of County maintenance shall not exceed fourteen thousand pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Mission Road to Interstate 15.

Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Tyler Street/Bancroft Drive between Sweetwater Road (County Road D45) and Troy Street shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Sweetwater Road (County Road D45) and Troy Street.

Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Arena Drive between San Vicente Road (County Road E5) and Arena Way shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Gunn Stage Road and Arena Way.

Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Del Amo Road between Arena Drive and Arena Way shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Gunn Stage Road and Arena Way.

SEC. 72.243.26.2. RAMONA.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Alice Street between Olive Street to Montecito Road shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Trucks would travel from Maple Street to Olive Street to SH 78.

SEC. 72.243.26.3. RAMONA.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Highland Valley Road between Archie Moore Road and Bandy Canyon Road shall not exceed fourteen thousand pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: State Route 67 to State Route 78.

SEC. 72.243.27. VISTA.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Plumosa Avenue between the Vista City Limits shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Sycamore Avenue (City of Vista street) to and from SH-78.

SEC. 72.243.27.1. SANTEE.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Los Ranchitos Road between El Nopal and the Santee City Limit shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Woodside Avenue (County Road D76).

SEC. 72.243.27.2. LAKESIDE.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Maine Avenue between Woodside Avenue (County Road D76) and Mapleview Street shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Woodside Avenue (County Road D76)/Channel Road/Mapleview Street/SR-67.

SEC. 72.243.27.4. LAKESIDE.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Moreno Avenue (County Road E33) between Vigilante Road (County Road D39) and Willow Road (County Road E2) shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: SR-67 and Vigilante Road (County Road D39).

SEC. 72.243.27.41. LAKESIDE.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Willow Road between SR-67 and Wildcat Canyon Road/Ashwood Street shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: SR-67, Ashwood Street and Mapleview Street.

SEC. 72.243.27.5. LAKESIDE.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any vehicle operating on Lemon Crest Drive from Julian Avenue to Winter Gardens Boulevard (County Road E21) shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Winter Gardens Boulevard (County Road E21)/Woodside Avenue (County Road D76)/Channel Road/Julian Avenue/Mapleview Street and Los Coches Road.

SEC. 72.243.27.6. LAKESIDE.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Post Hill Road from State Route 67 to Valle Vista Road shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulations as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Trucks would travel State Route 67 to Lakeside Avenue.

Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Buena Creek Road from South Santa Fe Avenue to the End of County Maintained Limit shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The routes which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect are as follows: Interstate 15/State Route 78.

SEC. 72.243.28. FALLBROOK.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Main Avenue between Clemmens Lane/N. Mission Road (County Road H53B) and East Mission Road (County Road H53B) shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Mission Road (County Road H53B) to and from SH-76 and I-15.

The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Trucks would travel from Mission Road (County Road H53) to Fallbrook Street.

SEC. 72.243.28.2. PALA.¶
Except as otherwise allowed by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Pala Temecula Road from Pala Mission Road northerly to the Riverside County Line shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The following routes shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect: Pala Mission Road/State Route 76/Interstate 15/State Route 79.

Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Gopher Canyon Road (County Road B8) between East Vista Way (County Road H53A) and Champagne Boulevard (County Road B40-1) shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Interstate 15, SH-76 and SH-78.

The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Interstate 15, SH-76 and SH-78.

Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on West Lilac Road (County Road B4) between Camino del Rey (County Road B39) and Old Highway 395 (County Road B40-2) shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Interstate 15, SH-76 and SH-78.

SEC. 72.243.32. HARMONY GROVE.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Elfin Forest Road from Harmony Grove Road westerly to the San Marcos City Limit shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Trucks would travel State Highway 78.

SEC. 72.243.32.1. HARMONY GROVE.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Harmony Grove Road between Elfin Forest Road and Kauana Loa Drive shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: State Route 78.

SEC. 72.243.33. DEL DIOS.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Rancho Drive/Lake Drive between Del Dios Highway (County Road A30-3) and Via Rancho Parkway (County Road A70) shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Trucks would travel from Del Dios Highway (County Road A30-3) to Via Rancho Parkway (County Road A70).

SEC. 72.243.33.1. ESCONDIDO.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Country Club Drive between the Escondido City Limit and Kauana Loa Drive shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Kauana Loa Drive, Enterprise Street, Andreasen Drive, Vineyard Avenue and Country Club Drive.

SEC. 72.243.34. VISTA.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Osborne Street from East Vista Way westerly to the Vista City Limit shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: The City of Vista segment of Osborne Street, East Vista Way, Taylor Street and North Santa Fe Avenue.

SEC. 72.243.35. BONSALL.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Old River Road between Camino Del Rey and SR-76 shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: SR-76 and East Vista Way.

SEC. 72.243.36. VISTA.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Deer Springs Road between Mesa Rock Road and Twin Oaks Valley Road shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Interstate 15 and SR-78.

SEC. 72.243.37. CHULA VISTA.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Proctor Valley Road, between the Chula Vista City Limits shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: East H Street and Otay Lakes Road.

SEC. 72.243.38. BONITA.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on San Miguel Road from Bonita Road to Proctor Valley Road (a distance of 1 mile), shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: East H Street and Otay Lakes Road.

SEC. 72.243.39. RANCHO SANTA FE.¶
Except as otherwise permitted by law, the maximum gross weight of any commercial vehicle operating on Lago Lindo between El Camino del Norte and El Montevideo shall not exceed fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds. The route which shall remain unrestricted by any local regulation as to commercial vehicles so long as this section shall remain in effect is as follows: Paseo Delicias and El Camino del Norte.
