SEC. 459.2.1. ASSESSMENT AND SPECIAL TAX DISTRICT FORMATION.

Petitions or requests for the formation of Assessment or Special Tax Districts or Zones to fund ongoing maintenance of improvements including, but not limited to, Stormwater Structural Best Management Practices (BMPs), Drainage Facilities, Parks, Open Space, Trails, Private Roads, or Landscaping shall be filed with the Director of Public Works. At the time such petition or request is filed, the applicant or petitioner shall deposit a sum estimated to be sufficient to cover the actual costs of forming the District or Zone. The amount of said deposit shall be prescribed by the Board of Supervisors.
