Sec. 16-12. - State law adopted.

The rules and regulations of the health officer for the control of communicable diseases shall be the same as those adopted by the state department of public health, and as in this code provided.

Sec. 16-13. - Exclusion of children from public gatherings.

Whenever, in the opinion of the health officer, the prevalence in the community of a contagious or infectious disease shall necessitate such action, the health officer, with the approval of the city manager and mayor, shall order that all minor children shall be excluded from all or any public gatherings, playgrounds, or places of amusement, education or entertainment. The health officer may make such exceptions from such order as the mode and extent of the supervision provided and other circumstances incident to such public gatherings, playgrounds, or places of amusement, education or entertainment in his opinion may justify.
