Redwood City Municipal Code Art. V Municipal Improvement District Procedure

Proceedings for the construction of local improvements, and proceedings for the acquisition of local improvements and of lands and easements therefor, and proceedings for the acquisition and construction thereof, may be had as provided in this Article.

Proceedings for such acquisition, or such construction, or such acquisition and construction as provided for in this Article, and the levy and collection of the assessment or reassessment therefor, and for the issuance and sale of bonds upon the unpaid assessments, may be had and taken in accordance with the procedure and with like effect, provided in that certain act of the legislature of the State entitled "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913, approved June 6, 1913," as now or hereafter amended.

Each step in the proceedings as referred to in this Article, including that of grades, and the effect of publishing a notice of award, may be subject to the same curative provisions, conclusive evidence clauses and limitation of action, as are provided in the procedure contained in Sections 18.17 to 18.21.
