§ 8-1.01. Tax District No. 1.¶
All of the territory within the City, as of September 20, 1927, is hereby named and designated as "Tax District No. 1" for the purposes of reference and convenience in the assessment and collection of taxes within the City.

§ 8-1.02. Tax District No. 2.¶
Except as provided in Section 8-1.03 of this chapter, all of the territory within the City lying outside of Tax District No. 1, as established by Section 8-1.01 of this chapter, is hereby named and designated as "Tax District No. 2" for the purposes of reference and convenience in the assessment and collection of taxes within the city.

§ 8-1.03. Tax District No. 3.¶
All of the territories within the boundaries of that portion of Lot A of the Partition of the Rancho Los Palos Verdes as per Case No. 2373, District Court of the County of Los Angeles, which was annexed to the City pursuant to Ordinance No. 998, is hereby named and designated as "Tax District No. 3" for the purposes of reference and convenience in the assessment and collection of taxes within the city.
