Chapter 5.50 — GAS TAX STREET IMPROVEMENT FUND

To comply with the provisions of Article 5, Chapter 1, Division 1 of the Streets and Highways Code, there is created in the city treasury a special fund for one or more special gas tax street improvement funds.

All money received by the city from the state under the Streets and Highways Code for the acquisition of real property or interests in real property, or the construction, maintenance, or improvements of streets or highways other than state highways shall be paid into the fund. (1991 code § 4-7.2)

All money in the fund shall be expended exclusively for the purposes authorized by, and subject to all of the provisions of, Article5, Chapter 1, Division 1 of the Streets and Highways Code. (1991 code § 4-7.3)
