2.28.010 - Desire to qualify for aid.

The town declares that it desires to qualify to receive aid from the state under the provisions of Section 13522, Chapter 1, of Title 4, Part 4, of the Penal Code. (Ord. 190 §2 (part), 1989)

2.28.020 - Adherence to state standards.

Pursuant to California Penal Code Sections 13510(a) and 13510(c), the Paradise police department will adhere to the standards for recruitment and training established by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST). (Ord. 190 §2 (part), 1989)

2.28.030 - Compliance inspections.

Pursuant to Penal Code Section 13512, the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training and its representatives may make such inquiries as deemed appropriate to ascertain that the Paradise police department's personnel adhere to standards for selection and training established by the commission. (Ord. 190 §2 (part), 1989)
