Sec. 2-7-1. - Legislative purpose.

Prior to the enactment of this article, a number of County Service areas have been established within the County of Orange in accordance with section 25210.1 et seq. of the Government Code, to provide certain services, including park and recreation facilities and services, within specified geographical areas. By enacting this article, it is the intention of the Board of Supervisors to provide authorization for, and establish a procedure for, the annual imposition of fees upon the owners of real property benefited by such park and recreation facilities and services, and the collection of such fees, in order to defray the cost to the County of providing such facilities and services. It is intended that such fees will be apportioned among the parcels of real property in each such County Service Area, in proportion to the estimated benefits received by each parcel from such facilities and services.

Sec. 2-7-2. - County Service Areas.

The County Service Areas listed below have been heretofore established in the County of Orange, and such County Service Areas have been authorized to provide park and recreation facilities and services to the residents of said County Service Areas:

Leisure World County Service Area No. 4 North Tustin County Service Area No. 5 Lake Forest/El Toro County Service Area No. 6 South Laguna Hills County Service Area No. 8 Aegean Hills County Service Area No. 12 La Mirada County Service Area No. 13 South Laguna County Service Area No. 16 East Yorba Linda County Service Area No. 22 Aliso Viejo County Service Area No. 25
