16.08.060 - Commission powers and duties.¶
The planning commission shall administer this chapter. The commission shall act in accordance with the policies adopted by the board, and in accordance with rules which the commission shall formulate pursuant to the delegation of authority contained in Article III of this chapter. The commission may exercise all powers reasonably necessary to accomplish its duties under this section, including entering and inspecting privately owned timberlands in connection with administration of this chapter.

16.08.070 - Department powers and duties.¶
The planning, building and environmental services department shall assist the commission in administering this chapter. Department staff members shall have the right to enter and inspect privately owned timberlands in connection with the administration of this chapter.

16.08.080 - Public hearing specifications.¶
A. Notice of the time and place of public hearings required by this chapter shall be given at least ten calendar days before the hearing by publication at least once in a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in the county.
B. In addition to notice by publication, notice of the hearing may be given in such other manner as the commission may deem necessary or desirable.
C. Any hearing may be continued from time to time.
