a) Any person who plans to install a woodburning appliance shall submit to the Contra Costa County Building Inspection Department documentation, typically a building permit application, demonstrating that the appliance meets criteria set forth in Section 4 above.

b) Documentation that does not comply with section 5(a) above shall be revised as directed by the Building Inspection Department to comply with Section 4.

c) Any person violating any provision of this ordinance shall be subject to civil or criminal prosecution as provided by this code.
