10.48.010 - Authority.

The authority for the ordinance codified in this chapter is the general police power of the state and those specific sections of the codes of this state appropriate thereto in respect to health and safety.

10.48.020 - Definitions.

A. "Fishing," as used in this chapter, means the same or equivalent to fishing as defined in the Fish and Game Code, laws of the state.

B. All other words and phrases used in this chapter shall be defined as they are commonly understood or specifically interpreted by the laws of the state.

10.48.030 - Prohibited acts.

It is unlawful to fish or engage in fishing at any time from shore or boat within the area at the easterly end of June Lake, in the county, as the same is specifically delineated by rope and buoy and when duly posted according to the provisions of this chapter.

10.48.040 - Sign posting.

The shore area representing the perimeter shore boundary of the closed area shall be posted with signs reading "NO FISHING" or the equivalent prior to the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter.

10.48.050 - Rope and buoy delineation.

The water area shall be delineated by appropriate rope and buoy arrangement which will effectively define the area closed and shall be so in existence prior to the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter.
