Chapter 2.74 — SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS

The office of the county superintendent of schools shall be an elective office, selected by a majority vote of the electors of Mono County, and said election shall be held at the time and place set for each California gubernatorial election, commencing with the gubernatorial election of November 1978, with the salary of said superintendent to be determined by the Mono County board of education in accordance with any applicable state or federal law or constitutional provision.
