12.16.040 - Human-powered devices prohibited when.¶
A. No person shall roller skate or use a skateboard, in-line skate or any other wheeled device propelled by human power in any public area posted against such activities or uses. The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to devices which are being used by or for disabled persons.
B. The provisions of subsection A of this section shall apply to private property open to the public if such property is conspicuously posted against such use and referring to this section.
C. The sheriff's department shall require the notarized signature of the owner, manager, or lessee of the private property on a "Consent" to "Enforce" form which shall be kept on file at the sheriff's department which shall give the sheriff's department the authorization to enforce the restrictions of this section.
