10.18.010 - Terminal defined.¶
"Terminal" means a facility at which freight is consolidated to be shipped, or where full-load consignments may be loaded or offloaded, or at which the vehicles are regularly maintained, stored or manufactured.

10.18.020 - Route clearance and signing-Application required.¶
Owner/operators of terminal sites, meeting the criteria set out in Section 10.18.010, requesting route clearance and signing shall make application to the county road commissioner.

10.18.030 - Application-Contents.¶
Applications submitted for consideration of route designation and signing shall include:
A. Name, title and address of the applicant;
B. Location of the terminal;
C. The preferred route and alternate routes, if available;
D. Evidence the terminal meets established criteria;
E. Evidence that the terminal entries, exits and parking are adequate;
F. Any potential road geometric problems or other considerations which may need resolving.

10.18.040 - Application-Submittal for review-Notice when modifications necessary.¶
A. Applications accepted shall be submitted to CalTrans (California Department of Transportation), with a letter of concurrence, for review and approval.
B. If the requested route or alternate routes are determined to not be acceptable, the applicant shall be notified of modifications necessary to make a route acceptable.

10.18.050 - Terminal route approval-Stipulation.¶
Approval of a terminal route shall include the stipulation that, if the designated terminal route performs in an unsatisfactory manner, terminal route designation shall be revoked, or an alternate route so designated.

10.18.060 - Costs borne by applicant.¶
Costs of administration, analysis, signing and route modifications may be borne by the applicant for terminal designation.
