Sec. 2.65.010. - Voter approval of city hall project by advisory vote.¶
Prior to the solicitation of bids for construction of a project to build a city hall, town centre complex or city administrative office building, an advisory measure shall be submitted to the voters on the project.

Sec. 2.65.020. - Manner of conducting advisory measure vote.¶
The advisory measure described in section 2.65.010 may be submitted to the voters as an advisory measure at a general or special municipal election or as a mailed voter survey generally following the procedures of the Elections Code for elections by mail. The advisory measure shall ask voters whether they approve of the location, size, and estimated cost of the proposed project.
