17.40.010 - Camp car or trailer—Defined.

A camp car or trailer, subject to the provisions of this chapter, is defined as any unit or structure designed, constructed or used for living or sleeping purposes for human habitation, which is equipped with wheels or similar devices for the purpose of transporting such unit or structure from place to place, whether by motive power or by other means.

17.40.020 - Camp car or trailer—When deemed a dwelling.

Any camp car or trailer, as defined in the preceding section, from which the wheels, or similar devices used for the purpose of transporting such unit or structure from place to place, have been removed, shall constitute the same a dwelling, subject to the requirements of the building code of the city, as set forth in Chapter 17.04, and the State Housing Act.

17.40.030 - Camp car or trailer—Used as living quarters.

No camp car or trailer shall be used for living or sleeping purposes or as a place of human habitation within the city, unless it is located and maintained within a camp ground within the city, which camp ground is kept and conducted as such and shall have paid a business license therefor, under the provisions of Chapter 5.08.
