Chapter 17.44 — IMPROVEMENT STANDARDS AND PROCEDURES GENERALLY

17.44.010 - Conformance.

All improvements mentioned in this chapter through Chapter 17.56 shall conform to those required in the "development standards and specifications" adopted by the board of supervisors, copies of which are on file and may be obtained in the office of the county clerk.

17.44.020 - Approval of plans of utility improvements.

The plans, profiles and specifications of all utility improvements required by the provisions of this title or any other county ordinance, as well as of other utility improvements proposed to be installed by the subdivider in, over or under any street or right-of-way, easement or parcel of land where utility improvements are required or proposed, shall be filed with the planning department prior to the time of submitting the final map, and shall be approved by the county engineer before the final map shall be filed with the board of supervisors. Such plans and profiles shall show full details of the proposed utility improvements which shall be according to the standards established therefor for the county as provided in Section 17.44.010.

17.44.030 - Approval of plans for road improvements.

The plans, profiles and specifications of all road improvements required by the provisions of the ordinance codified in this title or any other county ordinance, as well as of other street improvements proposed to be installed by the subdivider in, over or under any road, right-of-way or easement where street improvements are required or proposed, shall be filed with the planning department prior to the time of submitting the final map, and shall be approved by the county road commissioner before the final map shall be filed with the board of supervisors. Such plans and profiles shall show full details of the proposed street improvements which shall be according to the standards established therefore for the county as provided in Section 17.44.010.

17.44.040 - Inspection of utility improvements.

All required utility improvements shall be constructed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications, subject to inspection and acceptance by the county engineer, with the costs of inspection specially incurred therein to be paid by the subdivider as provided in Section 17.24.290.

17.44.050 - Inspection of road improvements.

All required road improvements shall be constructed in accordance with the approved plans and specifications, subject to inspection and acceptance by the county road commissioner. Inspection costs

incurred will be paid by the subdivider as provided in Section 17.24.300.
