1.12.010 General Definitions¶
Words or phrases used in this code shall have the following meanings.
1.12.020 Council¶
“Council” means the City Council of the City of Loyalton.
1.12.040 County¶
“County” means the County of Sierra, California.
1.12.050 May, Must, Shall¶
“May” is permissive and “must” or “shall” are mandatory.
1.12.060 Person¶
“Person” means any individual, firm, copartnership, joint venture, association, social club, fraternal organization, corporation, estate, trust, business trust, receiver, trustee, syndicate, state, county, city and county municipality, district, or other political subdivision of the state, or any other group or combination acting as a unit.
1.12.070 State¶
1.12.080 Singular and Plural¶
The Singular number includes the plural and the plural number includes the singular.
