Sec. 8.223. Powers of the Commission.¶
The Commission shall:
(a) Review and make recommendations on all matters to come before the Authority prior to Authority action, except emergency
matters and matters which the Commission, by resolution, excludes from its review.
(b) Perform such other duties with respect to matters as may be delegate to the Commission.

Sec. 8.224. Status.¶
The Commission is not an agency or department of the City of Los Angeles, and Commission members are not employees or agents of the City of Los Angeles.
