Sec. 22.1304. Cooperation of Other City Departments.

All departments, employees, and officers of the City of Los Angeles shall cooperate to the fullest extent with the Department provided, however, that no department, employee, or officer shall be required to do anything that would conflict with their duties as established by the Charter or other applicable law. City proprietary departments and departments that control their own funds are strongly encouraged to adopt a policy instructing their respective personnel to cooperate with the Department consonant with the provisions of this article. This cooperation shall include the provision of programmatic information to the Department on youth-serving activities.

Sec. 22.1305. Coordination with other Agencies.

The Department shall, whenever practical, coordinate its programs with other public and private entities pursuing similar goals to avoid duplication of effort and assure an effective working relationship between the City and these other entities.

Sec. 22.1306. Conformation with City Organization.

The Department shall adhere to all laws, rules, regulations, and administrative procedures as may be prescribed for other offices, departments and bureaus under the control of the Mayor and the City Council.
