Sec. 22.606. Duties and Powers.¶
The Department shall have the following duties and responsibilities:
(a) to plan, develop, implement and administer housing rehabilitation programs, housing preservation and production programs as
directed by and authorized by the Mayor and City Council;
(b) to establish and direct specific task forces and committees for the purpose of analyzing specific issues and making specific
recommendations on an as needed basis.
