Sec. 22.506. Responsibility to Provide Supplies and Purchasing Services.¶
The Department, for the City offices and departments, or as provided for by the Council and the Mayor by ordinance or through the budget for any amendments thereto, shall be responsible for and shall provide for:
(1) purchasing, warehousing, distribution and transfer of materials, supplies and equipment;
(2) printing, duplicating, and binding services to City departments;
(3) maintenance and operation of an inventory system to facilitate management of materials, supplies and equipment;
(4) maintenance and repair of office machines and equipment;
(5) sale or disposal of City-owned personal property;
(6) recycling of salvaged City-owned hazardous electronic equipment.
