Sec. 22.1. Creation of the Department.¶
There is hereby created a department within the government of the City to be known as the Department of Animal Services, hereinafter referred to in this chapter as the “Department”.

Sec. 22.4. Board of Commissioners.¶
There shall be a Board of Animal Services Commissioners who shall be appointed, removed, and organized in accordance with Charter Sections 501-503. The Department shall be under the control and management of the Board.

Sec. 22.5. Appointment and Removal of the General Manager.¶
The general manager shall be appointed and may be removed in accordance with Charter §508(b) and (e).
