§ 2.13.010. Office of director of transportation.¶
There is created an office entitled director of transportation. Wherever in this code the term "road commissioner" is used it shall mean "director of transportation."

§ 2.13.020. Abolishment of the office of road commissioner.¶
The office of road commissioner is abolished and all duties of the road commissioner are transferred to the director of transportation. Any civil engineering functions which are required to be performed by the road commissioner shall be performed by a registered civil engineer acting under the authority of the director of transportation.

§ 2.13.030. Appointment.¶
The director of transportation shall be appointed by the county administrative officer.

§ 2.13.040. Tenure.¶
The director of transportation shall serve at the will and pleasure of the county administrative officer, as provided in Section 2.36.132 of this code.
