§ 2.16.010. Duties—Salary.¶
The county surveyor shall be a licensed land surveyor of the state. He or she shall perform the duties as otherwise prescribed by law, and shall receive the salary as designated in Chapter 2.36.

§ 2.16.020. Appointment.¶
The office of surveyor is declared to be an appointive county office. He or she shall be appointed by the board of supervisors, and shall hold office at the pleasure of the board.
