Chapter 9.236 — OPEN SPACE CONSERVATION DISTRICT

§ 9.236.010. Purpose. ¶
The purpose of the open space conservation district is to provide for the preservation of regionally significant open space lands.

§ 9.236.020. Permitted uses. ¶
The following principal uses are permitted subject to the approval of a site development permit per Chapter 9.184 :
A. Regional parks;
B. Local parks;
C. National forests;
D. Public/private roads;
E. Riding and hiking trails;
F. Bikeways.

§ 9.236.030. Accessory uses permitted. ¶
The following accessory uses and structures are permitted when customarily associated with and subordinate to a permitted principal use on the same building site:
A. Restrooms;
B. Information centers;
C. Maintenance buildings;
D. Riding and hiking trails;
E. Ranger stations;
F. Parking lots per Chapter 9.168 .
G. Signs per Chapter 9.164 .
H. Accessory uses and structures which the Director finds consistent with the purpose and intent of this district.

§ 9.236.040. Prohibited uses. ¶
The following uses are specifically prohibited:
A. Use of chain-link fence except during construction;
B. All uses not expressly permitted above.

§ 9.236.050. Site development standards. ¶
A. Building Site Area. Two acres minimum.
B. Building Height. Eighteen feet maximum measured per Section 9.144.050 .
C. Building Site Coverage. Ten percent maximum.
D. Off-Street Parking. Per Chapter 9.168 .
E. Building Setbacks. All buildings, structures and off-street parking facilities shall be set back a minimum of 50 feet from any public or private street.
