Article XIV — COUNTY SERVICE AREA BRIDGES

Sec. 19-134. - Weight and Speed Limits and Stop Signs.¶
134.1 It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a vehicle in excess of the following weight limits or speed limits on any of the following County Service Area Bridges:
(a)
Bridge No. 14C-48, County Service Area No. 2, Chalk Mountain Road, 4.5 miles North of State Route 20, crossing North Fork Cache Creek:
13 tons per vehicle
21 tons per semi-trailer combination
26 tons per truck and full trailer
5 mph on bridge for all vehicles
(b)
Bridge No. 14C-50, County Service Area No. 2, Quail Trail, 6 miles North of State Route 20, crossing Wolf Creek:
13 tons per vehicle
21 tons per semi-trailer combination
26 tons per truck and full trailer
5 mph on bridge for all vehicles

134.2 The following County Service Area Bridges shall have stop signs posted at each end:
(a)
Bridge No. 14C-48, County Service Area No. 2, Chalk Mountain Road, 4.5 miles North of State Route 20, crossing North Fork Cache Creek.
(b)
Bridge No. 14C-50, County Service Area No. 2, Quail Trail, 6 miles North of State Route 20, crossing Wolf Creek.
(c)
Bridge No. 14C-49, County Service Area No. 2, Wolf Creek Road, 5.5 miles North of State Route 20, crossing Wolf Creek.
(d)
Bridge No. 14C-51, County Service Area No. 2, Wolf Creek Road, 4.25 miles North of State Route 20, crossing Wolf Creek.
134.3 The Special Districts' Administrator shall place or cause to be placed in a conspicuous place on each entrance to each bridge designated in Sections 19-134.1 and 19-134.2 an adequate sign bearing the words "Weight Limit", "Speed Limit", and "Stop Sign", indicating the weight limits, speed limits, and stop signs which are designated in Sections 19-134.1 and 19-134.2.
134.4 Penalty. Any violation of the Section 134.1 shall constitute a misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00), or by imprisonment in the County jail for a period not to exceed six (6) months.
