Editor's note— Article XIII, § 19-133 (19-133.1—19-133.3) is herein set out as enacted by Ord. No. 1132, § 1, adopted Feb. 26, 1980, which ordinance renumbered the provisions of Art. XIII, § 19-132 (19-132.1—19- 132.3) as formerly set out by Ord. No. 1126, § 2, adopted Jan. 15, 1980. In order to avoid duplication of article numbers, section 1 of Ord. No. 1126 repealed Ord. No. 1034, §§ 1—3, adopted July 17, 1978, previously enacted as Art. XII, § 19-132 (19-132.1—19-132.3), relative to the same subject matter.
Sec. 19-133. - Prohibited Use.¶
133.1 Pursuant to the authority of Section 21109 of the California Vehicle Code, it shall be unlawful for any person to dive, jump, fish from, or climb upon the structural supports of any highway bridge spanning any stream or body of water within the unincorporated territory of the County.
133.2 Nothing in this Article shall apply to Public Works Personnel, or their agents, while engaged in repairing, painting or otherwise performing maintenance upon any such bridge.
133.3 Any violation of the provisions of this Article shall constitute an infraction and shall be punishable by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00).
