Sec. 2-5. - Declaration.¶
5.2 The Judicial Districts of the County of Lake are named and bounded as follows:¶
a. Southlake Judicial District:
BEGINNING on the boundary line between the Counties of Lake and Colusa where the South line of Section 35, Township 15 North, Range 6, West, M.D.B. & M. intersects said boundary line and thence from said Point of Beginning running West a distance of 4-¾ miles, more or less, to the Southwest corner of Section 31 of said Township and Range; thence North along the Range line between Ranges 6 and 7 West, a distance of 2 miles to the Northeast corner of Section 25, Township 15 North, Range 7 West; thence West along the North line of Sections 25, 26 and 27 of said Township and Range, a distance of 3 miles to the Northwest corner of said Section 27; thence South 1 mile to the Northeast corner of Section 33 of said Township and Range; thence West 1 mile to the Northwest corner of said Section 33; thence North 1 mile to the Northeast corner of Section 29 of said Township and Range; thence West 4 miles to the Northwest corner of Section 26, Township 15 North, Range 8 West; thence South 4 miles to the Northeast corner of Section 15, Township 14 North, Range 8 West; thence West 1 mile to the Northwest corner of said Section 15; thence South a distance of 2-¾ miles, more or less, to the intersection with the West line of Section 27 of said Township and Range with the Low Water Line of Clear Lake; thence in a Southeasterly direction, across the waters of Clear Lake, and to the Eastward of Fruit Island, to the intersection of the Low Water Line of Clear Lake with the Range line between Ranges 7 and 8 West, Township 13 North, at the tip of Baylis Point; thence Northwesterly across the waters of said Clear Lake to the intersection of the North line of Section 25, Township 13 North, Range 8 West, with said Low Water Line of Clear Lake; thence West ½ mile, more or less, to the Northwest corner of said Section 25; thence South ½ mile to the quarter-section corner on the West line of said Section 25; thence East 1 mile to the quarter-section corner on the East line of said Section 25; thence South along the line between Ranges 7 and 8 West, 3-½ miles to the Northeast corner of Section 13, Township 12 North, Range 8 West; thence West ¾ mile; thence South 2 miles; thence West ¼ mile to the Southwest corner of Section 24 of said Township and Range; thence South 1 mile to the Southwest corner of Section 25; thence West 5 miles along the North line of Sections 35, 34, 33, 32 and 31 to the Northwest corner of said Section 31 of said Township and Range; thence West 1 mile to the intersection of the South line of Section 25, Township 12 North, Range 9 West, with the Westerly boundary line of Lake County; thence Southerly along the Lake-Sonoma County line to the Lake-Napa County line; thence Easterly and Northerly along the Lake-Napa County line to the Lake-Yolo County line; thence Northerly along the Lake-Yolo County line; thence Northerly along the Lake-Yolo County line to the Lake-Colusa County line; and thence Northerly along the Lake-Colusa County line to the Point of Beginning.
b. Northlake Judicial District:
BEGINNING on the boundary line between the Counties of Lake and Colusa where the South line of Section 35, Township 15 North, Range 6 West, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian intersects said boundary line, and thence from said Point of Beginning running West a distance of 4-¾ miles, more or less, to the Southwest corner of Section 31 of said Township and Range; thence North along the Range lines between Ranges 6 and 7 West, a distance of 2 miles to the Northeast corner of Section 25, Township 15 North, Range 7 West; thence West along the North line of Sections 25, 26 and 27 of said Township and Range, a distance of 3 miles to the Northwest corner of said Section 27; thence South 1 mile to the Northeast corner of Section 33 of said Township and Range; thence West 1 mile to the Northwest corner of said Section 33; thence North 1 mile to the Northeast corner of Section 29 of said Township and Range; thence West 4 miles to the Northwest corner of Section 26, Township 15 North, range 8 West; thence South 4 miles to the Northeast corner of Section 15, Township 14 North, Range 8 West; thence West 1 mile to the Northwest corner of said Section 15; thence South a distance of 2-¾ miles, more or less, to the intersection with the West line of Section 27 of said Township and Range with the Low Water line of Clear Lake; thence in a Southeasterly direction, across the waters of Clear Lake, and to the Eastward of Fruit Island, to the intersection of the Low Water line of Clear Lake with the Range line between Ranges 7 and 8 West, Township 13 North, at the tip of Baylis Point; thence Northwesterly across the waters of said Clear Lake to the intersection of the North line of Section 25, Township 13 North, Range 8 West, with said Low Water line of Clear Lake; thence West ½ mile, more or less, to the Northwest corner of said Section 25; thence South ½ mile to the quarter-section corner on the West line of said Section 25; thence East 1 mile to the quarter-section corner on the East line of said Section 25; thence South along the line between Ranges 7 and 8 West, 3-½ miles to the Northeast corner of Section 13, Township 12 North, Range 8 West; thence West ¾ mile; thence South 2 miles; thence West ¼ mile to the Southwest corner of Section 24 of said Township and Range; thence South 1 mile to the Southwest corner of Section 25; thence West 5 miles along the North line of Sections 35, 34, 33, 32 and 31 to the Northwest corner of said Section 31 of said Township and Range; thence West 1 mile to the intersection of the South line of Section 25, Township 12 North, Range 9 West, with the Westerly boundary line of Lake County; thence in a Northwesterly, Northerly and Northeasterly direction along the Lake-Mendocino County line to the Lake-Glenn County line; thence in an Easterly and Southerly direction along the Lake-Glenn County line to the Lake-Colusa County line; and thence in a Southeasterly and Southerly direction along the Lake-Colusa County line to the Point of Beginning.
