7.08.010 - San Diego County Code of Regulatory Ordinances Chapters 1, 2 and 3 of…

There is hereby adopted by reference Chapters 1, 2 and 3 of Division 1, Title 6 of the San Diego County Code of Regulatory Ordinances, and such secondary codes as are incorporated therein, a copy of which is on file in the office of the city clerk, relating to preparation and distribution of food, public health permits for food distribution establishments, mobile food units, food vending vehicles, vending machines, food caterers and catering equipment rentals, food handlers, and the destruction of spoiled food.

7.08.020 - Modifications to San Diego County Code of Regulatory Ordinances Chapters 1,…

Section 61.100 is hereby amended by substituting the words "City Council" wherever the words "Board of Supervisors" appear.

Section 61.110 is hereby amended to add the following: "A separate health permit shall be required for each establishment. Health permits shall not be transferable from one person to another or from one location to another."

Sections 61.121 and 61.122 are hereby deleted.

Section 61.165, paragraph (b) is hereby amended by substituting the words "City of La Mesa" for the word "City."

Section 61.165, paragraph (d) is hereby amended by substituting the words "La Mesa Municipal Code" for the words "San Diego Municipal Code."

Section 61.166, paragraph (c) is hereby amended by substituting the words "La Mesa Municipal Code" for the words "this code."

Section 61.167 is hereby amended by substituting in the introductory paragraph the words "Section 61.110 of this code" for the words "San Diego Municipal Code, Section 41.03."

Section 61.167, paragraph (b) subsection (2) is hereby amended by substituting the words "City of La Mesa Building Inspection Department" for the words "Building Inspection Department."

7.08.030 - Enforcement by county.

This chapter is in furtherance of a contract between the city of La Mesa and the county of San Diego, entitled "An agreement for public health services to be furnished by the County of San Diego to the City of La Mesa"; and all regulatory provisions therein contained and now applicable to the unincorporated areas of San Diego County are hereby made applicable to the city of La Mesa; and this chapter shall be enforced by the county department of environmental health services in accordance with said contract, the county health officer hereby being designated as the health officer for the city of La Mesa.

7.08.040 - Wholesale food warehouses—County regulations adopted by reference.

The provisions of the County Code of Regulatory Ordinances concerning permitting and regulation of wholesale food warehouses, codified as sections 61.212 and 61.256 of the County Code, are incorporated into this code by reference.
