2.36.010 - Destruction of city records.

Duplicate and obsolete records of the city shall be destroyed by a means which will not allow them to be readily restored or reconstituted, and under the following procedure:

A. In accordance with Sections 34090, 34090.5, 34090.7 and 53921, California Government Code, and other applicable law.

B. After application for their destruction has been approved by the city attorney or his/her duly authorized representative.

C. Upon approval by resolution of the city council after the aforesaid approval by the city attorney or his/her authorized representative has been granted.
