Sec. 11.100.010. - Jumping from structures or rocks prohibited; exceptions.

A. A person is prohibited from jumping or otherwise removing themself: or depositing an object on the ground, by parachute or other airborne means from:

(1) A fixed structure or fixture or appurtenance thereto, including, but not limited to, buildings, antennae, bridges, electrical or communication towers, or

(2) Rocks, cliffs, or other natural terrain or landforms, whether or not modified by human beings.

B. A person is prohibited from delivering or retrieving another person or object, or aiding a person, in the acts prohibited by subsection A.

C. The provisions of this section shall not apply to actions:

(1) Necessary to deal with emergencies involving public safety, personal injury or death, or serious property damage or loss; or

(2) Pursuant to the terms and conditions of a permit issued for such activities under provisions of this Code; or

(3) By employees of federal, state or local agencies engaged in activities within the course and scope of their employment.
