12.12.010 - Prohibitions designated.

A. No person, and no person for and on behalf of himself or of any firm, partnership, association or corporation, shall park, deposit, abandon, store, or litter any public street, sidewalk, curb or public way, within the limits of the city, with any motor or other vehicle, trailer, truck, or automobile or truck part or parts of other material or materials of any kind or nature, including bicycles.

B. No person shall ride any bicycle on any sidewalk within the city.

C. No person shall ride any type of skateboard on any sidewalk within the city.

12.12.020 - Exception.

The prohibitions set out in Section 12.12.010 shall not prohibit the ordinary use and necessary parking of automotive equipment for periods of less than 24 hours continuously.

12.12.030 - Removal and costs.

Upon a violation of this chapter the city, through its officers, agents or employees, may remove or cause the removal of such obstruction and the cost thereof to be paid by the owner of such obstructive equipment, supplies or material.

12.12.040 - Penalty for violation.

The penalty for violation of any section of this chapter is an infraction as prescribed in Section 1.08.030 of the Ione Municipal Code.
